Clergy
Anyone who intends to perform marriages in
Jefferson Parish must register with the marriage department. The fee to register with the clerk of court
is $5.00. One also must complete an application form which may be downloaded
here.
This form must be submitted with original ordination papers and a valid drivers
license. These may be presented in person at either our East Bank or
West Bank offices. To download this form, you will need Adobe

Members of the clergy also
must submit a notarized affidavit attesting to their name and location of
their affiliated church or place of worship. The form may be
