Clerk of Court Jon Gegenheimer attended the inauguration of Jefferson Parish officials held in the West Bank Council Chambers in Gretna. The ceremony featured the swearing-in of Parish President John Young alongside council members representing districts and at-large positions across the parish.
Officials taking their oaths included Chris Roberts (At-Large Division A), Elton Lagasse (At-Large Division B), Ricky Templet (District 1), Paul Johnston (District 2), Mark Spears, Jr. (District 3), Ben Zahn (District 4), and Cynthia Lee-Sheng (District 5). Louisiana Treasurer John N. Kennedy and Justice of the Peace Vernon Wilty III were also in attendance.
