Civil and Criminal Fax Filing ended January 1, 2026
EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2026, FAX FILINGS WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTED FOR CIVIL OR CRIMINAL MATTERS. Filings by an attorney shall be filed in person in paper form or transmitted electronically through the JeffNet system. Filings by non-attorneys may be filed by mail, other commercial courier service, in person, or through the JeffNet system. There are exceptions for certain types of documents, such as original wills or testaments, promissory notes, and certain evidence; however filing by fax will be prohibited effective January 1, 2026 for all filings.
